Stephanie “VIXEN” Gunter

Hello, my name is Stephanie “VIXEN” Gunter, owner and head artist of Vixen Body Art & Vixen Cosmetic Tattoos. I entered into the tattoo industry in 2007 after opening Artistic Encounter Tattoo with my husband Billyjack Gunter. In 2009, I received my cosmetology license and started doing hair along with starting to tattoo at the same time. As I was getting burnt out from doing hair I decided to combine the beauty industry and tattoo industry together with doing cosmetic tattooing. I have been a cosmetic tattoo artist since 2017 and now offer my clients different services such as eyebrow, eyeliner, lip blushing, fine line tattooing and so much more. My goal is to make women feel more self confident and to enhance their own natural beauty with permanent makeup and tattoos. I love how my career allows me to be creative and to show my artistic abilities to do what I love and what I’m passionate about, by combining beauty and art with tattooing. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to set up an appointment. I’d be happy to assist you.

I love illustrative art and mostly use colored pencil pen and alcohol markers. Color is super important to my art and i prefer cutesy horror and gothic designs.

I’m a linework/black and grey artist, I’m also the manager at AE Deep Ellum and the head apprentice. I’ve been tattooing for about 10 months now. I love line work tattoos. My favorite things to draw are usually leaves and flowers, I’m a big plant person. My favorite thing about tattooing is giving my clients a relaxing environment to get work done and my goal is to always make my clients feel happier with their bodies than when they came in.
